Has your Doctor Missed or Misdiagnosed this Most Common Cause of Fatigue?
I was recently feeling severely fatigued for no apparent reason, so decided to pay a visit to my doctor about this. Other than getting some blood tests done, and the usual 'get more sleep, get more exercise' advice, nothing helped to pick up my energy levels. In my case, there was no diagnosis, and no real solution.
I knew that I had to look further, and while doing my research, I found an amazing article on adrenal fatigue, written by Dr. Joseph Mercola.
There are a number of factors that overwork and fatigue your adrenal glands, and these are mostly due to all types of stress.
I also learned why, and how easily, this diagnosis could be missed by doctors. And the sad thing is that this is not a rare disease - it's a common cause of fatigue - which will be experienced by around 80% of adults at some time, yet in the USA it is one of the most under-diagnosed illnesses.
Signs & Symptoms of Adrenal Fatigue
- Fatigue and weakness, especially in the morning and afternoon
- Brain fog
- A suppressed immune system

Where to get help If you are feeling fatigued, and if you recognize that you have some of the above symptoms, then do yourself a favor and read Dr. Mercola's article as it will help you with regards to treatment protocols that will work for you. This illness emphasizes the truth of the statement "All disease begins in the gut" made by Hippocrates over 2,000 years ago.
Apart from genetic diseases, Hippocrates' statement has stood the test of time, even though it may have been forgotten by modern medicine in recent times.
We to realize that if we want to be healthy and energetic again, we need to pay attention to how we care for our gut - not just with the right foods, but with reducing stress factors.
Wishing you good health always!
